TN Merger Announcement

We are pleased to announce an important change in the structure of the Memphis Regional Chapter of the USGBC. Effective March 16, the Memphis Regional Chapter joins with Middle and East Tennessee chapters to form a single state chapter, which will be known as USGBC Tennessee.

This unification brings many benefits to green building leadership in Tennessee. Foremost, this consolidation will allow local chapters (now to be known as “branches”) to focus more on mission and less on administration. State-level chapter leadership will free local volunteers from having to manage by-laws, compliance, and many other administrative tasks that take time away from the purpose of improving the performance of Tennessee’s commercial and residential buildings.

Mission Statement

To transform the way buildings and communities are designed, built and operated, enabling an environmentally and socially responsible, healthy and prosperous environment that improves the quality of life.
